Temporary Administrative & Program Support Assistant

For 40 years, Project Self-Sufficiency has empowered single parents to build intergenerational stability through education, career development, and unwavering community support. Each year, we partner with 140 families across Larimer and Weld counties—walking alongside them as they break cycles of poverty, achieve life-changing goals, and create brighter futures for their children.

We’re excited to welcome a Temporary Administrative & Program Support Assistant who is detail‑oriented, service‑minded, and eager to play a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping our organization running smoothly. This position is essential during a period of staff transition, helping ensure that our participants, donors, volunteers, and community partners continue to receive responsive, high-quality support every day.

Working closely with staff across programs and development, the Temporary Administrative & Program Support Assistant will provide critical administrative support, manage communications, assist with data entry and donor processing, and help maintain accurate records in Salesforce. This role also supports front desk operations, assists with volunteer coordination, and contributes to event and program activities as needed. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, adaptable, and takes pride in keeping systems organized and running efficiently.

You may be the perfect fit if you:

  • Are passionate about our mission and enjoy supporting work that makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
  • Have at least one year of administrative, customer service, or office experience.
  • Are highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Feel confident working with email systems, data entry, and basic tools like Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Are eager to learn systems like Salesforce and contribute to data accuracy and cleanup efforts.
  • Enjoy interacting with a wide range of people—from participants and volunteers to donors and community partners—with professionalism and warmth.

What We Offer:

  • A meaningful opportunity to support single parents on their journey toward education and self‑sufficiency.
  • A collaborative, mission-driven culture that values teamwork, reliability, and positive impact.
  • Flexible, part-time hours (approximately 10–20 hours per week) to fit your schedule.
  • Competitive hourly compensation ($19.00–$23.00 per hour).
  • The chance to gain hands-on nonprofit experience across administration, development, and program support.

Ready to roll up your sleeves and be part of a team that keeps everything moving forward behind the scenes? We’d love to hear from you.
