Thank you UCHealth!

As I reflect the myriad ways that UCHealth has been a partner in our work over the last 10 ½  years, I am truly humbled. UCHealth has sponsored our events, they have supplied us with incredible board members who have served in leadership roles and shared their connections and expertise, they have employed our program graduates in roles that have allowed them to support themselves and their families on a single income, and now they are partnering with us on a community grant. We are using the funds from this award to fund direct cash assistance provided through our Healthy Families Program. The funds are flexibly allocated and distributed, helping each participant address their specific barriers, such as housing, childcare, transportation, healthcare, and the cost of post-secondary education. This support assists single parents address negative social determinants of health while they are in school and ensures that they complete their post-secondary education and training that leads to living-wage employment.

It takes a village to transform the lives of single-parent families. We are incredibly grateful for partners like UCHealth.
