Let’s come together to celebrate growth, generosity, and the power of community. Together, we will cultivate brighter futures for single parents and their children.
Bringing the Power of Education to Single Parents
Project Self-Sufficiency partners with single parents, providing practical support and resources to help single parents achieve educational and career success, leading to a brighter future for their families.
Through personalized coaching, goal setting, and holistic support, we empower them to overcome barriers, build confidence, and build a lasting legacy of self-sufficiency.
35+ Years of Transformation
What started as a demonstration project launched by a countywide task force in 1985 has now impacted more than 1,0000 single-parent families in Northern Colorado.
Creating Multigenerational Impact
We create a multigenerational ripple effect by empowering single parents through education. Our SelfPower model helps break the cycle and fosters a legacy of impact.
Strengthening the Community
Empowering single parents to support themselves benefits their families, the workforce, and ultimately strengthening our entire community.

The Project Self-Sufficiency SelfPower Model
Our SelfPower model ensures that every aspect of life is supported by our single-parent families, from housing stability to employment and mental wellness. Engaging families in four stages of growth, the SelfPower model provides intensive, personalized intervention through a one-on-one relationship with highly skilled Advisors.
Key resources and basic needs met for a healthy foundation in order to reach career goals and recognize SelfPower.
